HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA

We were inflight on our way home from England on September 11, 2001. Our flight landed unexpectedly two hours early in Halifax, Canada, because air space in the U.S. had been closed due to the terrorist attacks. Needless to say, we spent 3 and a half days in Canada at a military base waiting for our flight to resume.
