THANKS A HEAP
I'd like to thank the Academy and I'd like to thank my fans, because without you this would not have been possible. On a more reality driven note, there really are lots of people who deserve thanks during my house building process. Here goes....

My Mom and Dad:
There are not enough words to express my thanks to you. You were with me every step of the way, starting about 30 years ago. I couldn't have done it without mom running all over town doing house stuff for me while I was at work, and making those decisions when I got tired of making them myself. And thanks to dad who came in and did the finishing wiring work. Dad has also been Mr. Handy Man for everything I've needed. Thanks to both of them for their countless hours of giving house advice, and for aimlessly following me around in Lowe's looking for stuff, stuff, and more stuff. Most importantly, thanks for your unending love. I may be out of your house but you will never be out of my heart.

RuthAnne, Keith, and Emma:
For allowing me to use basically your same house plans. It's scary how that worked out. At least you'll never get lost in my house. Thanks for all your advice and support, and of course, your love. You occupy such a large part of my heart.

The Moving Crew and My Peeps:
Lisa, Scott, Rod, Charlene, Jeff, Ter, and Jenn. You rock! I'm lucky to have such a jam up group of peeps like this gang. I wake up every morning knowing I am blessed with such incredible friends.

My Neighbors, Austin and Katharine:
They were the first ones to move in the Summerfield housing development and kept a close watch on my house while it was being constructed. They also gave lots of great advice. I'm grateful to have them as neighbors.

My Cat, Betty Boop:
Thanks for agreeing to make the move with me. It's not easy for a 13 year old moody cat to adjust to new surroundings.

My Builder:
The house was done start to finish in three months, which is unheard of in these parts. Everyone hears horror stories about things that go wrong while building a house. I am one of those fortunate few who never once experienced such trauma. I can't say enough good things about Johnny Causey Jr. with Southern Homes Builders, Inc. He and his wife, Donna, were with me every step of the way. Thanks for all your patience and advice.

Pastor Crowther:
He and his family were days away from jumping in the U-Haul and moving to Kansas City to take on a new congregation. He still found time in his busy schedule to stop by and give me a good old fashioned house blessing. I think the house sleeps better now. Did I mention the TV stopped making that scary buzzing sound after the house was blessed? I'm serious

No one was intentionally left out of the Thanks page. If you were, let me know, and if it's legit, I'll add you.
